It is an honest review on my own maternal family via a deeper look into the 10,000 old images left by my grandfather before he passed away. Unfortunately I found lots of painful truth behind the scene, including problems with the typical Chinese patriarchal family, domestic violence and childhood psychological trauma.

这是一次对我母系家族的坦诚回顾：我深入审视了外公生前留下的一万张老照片。遗憾的是，我在画面背后发现了许多痛苦的真相，包括典型中国父权家庭的种种问题、家庭暴力以及童年心理创伤。
